Langtang region was Nepals first National Park, sandwiched between the main Himalayan range to the North and lower peaks to the south. You will enjoy views of both the Langtang Range and Ganesh Himal. One of the most accessible areas, by road from Kathmandu, the Langtang home to the Tamang people with their colorful culture and village life is beautiful. You will find small peaks one can climb and beautiful scenery, glaciers and lakes all at a lower elevation than you will find in the Everest and Annapurna regions.
