Ghorepani Ghandruk Trek
Ghorepani Ghandruk Trek : There are numbers of choice of short treks in the foothills to the north of Pokhara. It is known as short ‘n’ sweet trek. Most of these deviations will visit Ghorepani and Ghandruk. Ghorepani is just below the famed vantage point of Poonhill – one of the best spots to see the views of central Nepal Himalayan panorama.
Ghorepani trekking is one of the most popular in Annapurna, because it is relatively easy and offers great scenery. There are many well equipped guest houses along the trail. The main attraction of the trek is the view at Poon Hill on the nearby mountains (Annapurna I (8091m), Dhaulagiri I (8167m), Annapurna South (7219m) Fishtail Mountain (6993m)) and the ancient Rhododendron forests, thickly covered in moss. The Rhododendron trees can be seen blooming in spring, around March.
