Sustainable Tourism/Responsibilities
Our main focus is on sustainable tourism, as we all want to protect Nepal’s magnificent people, cultures and breathtaking scenery. We want to ensure future generations benefit from the many attractions Nepal has to offer as we do today.
During your trek you will never find us burning local wood but always carrying in fuel, when required. You will find many tea houses today burn briquettes made of recycled materials, bought from the main cities and carried in, while others burn yak dung.
We are committed to keeping our environment clean by bringing back all of our garbage from camping and trekking expeditions.
Our guides are very good at working and sharing ideas with lodges to help promote more sustainable projects. We also work with a number of rural education projects and support schemes protecting endangered animals and preserving our precious national parks.
