Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary, but as this is adventure travel in a remote mountain region we cannot guarantee it! Weather conditions and the health of trekkers can all contribute to changes. The guides and their Sherpa assistants will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if necessary.
Accommodation on the trek & Food
You will be accommodated in lodges during tea house trek & tent in camping trek . Typical food available for lunch and dinner is Nepali rice & lentils, pasta, potato dishes, soups or pizzas. Delicious pancakes, porridge, toast and eggs are the main breakfast fare, while tea, coffee and hot chocolate are always available. You will probably be pleasantly surprised at the variety of food at the lodges.
There are a lot of steep ascents and descents on the trek and a good level of fitness is required. Some days you may be required to walk up to six hours. Please note that the estimated walking time each day will vary according to the overall fitness of the group and weather conditions.
Footwear & Clothing: Bring well broken-in walking shoes, suitable for snow; thick socks, light socks, camp shoes; down or fiber filled waterproof jacket and pants; sweater or fleece jacket; underwear; warm and cotton or polypropylene pants or jeans; shirts and T-shirts; shorts; long underwear; wool hat; sun hat; gloves; bathing suit; comfortable track/gym suit.

Arrival in Kathmandu Overnight in Hotel
Clear Sky Treks representatives will welcome groups at the KTM Airport with a banner and drop them off at the hotel check-in and refreshments, Clear Sky Treks office management personnel and a guide will formally introduce themselves and provide a trip briefing. Group members should submit 2 passport size photos plus a copy of their passport and also, a copy of Travel insurance and return flight information.
Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding (2652m.)BLD. Overnight in Trekking Lodges
Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m.) which takes approximately 35minutes and trek from Lukla to Phakding (2640 m.) which takes approximately three hours. You transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Lukla. You begin today’s trek passing through Lukla, with its hotels, teahouses and general stores. You follow a gentle climb up the mountainside on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi. Nupla (5885m) can be seen in the distance on the opposite bank, is a peak atop the Kongde Ridge. You descend a mountainside path that merges into your route to Everest, with views to a valley to your right; and at its far end, Kusum Kang (6367m.) The Dudh Kosi approaches as you pass a Mani wall and arrive at the Ghat teahouse. You continue along a small path with many climbs and descents following the left bank of Dudh Kosi to Phakding.
Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.) BLD Overnight in Trekking Lodges
Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.) which takes about five and half hours. You cross a stream and climb the terraced hill from the Dudh Kosi route, to arrive at Bengar. The trail now climbs from the riverbed on the left bank into the mountain, through a forest to Chumoa. You continue along a path with many ups and downs; cross a stream, and pass by the tiny village of Monjo. After a short climb you come to Jorsale’s. After your departure from Jorsale you enter a forested mountainside. You move on following a short walk along the riverbed of this V-shaped valley where the river forks - the right is the Dudh Kosi and the left is the Bhote Kosi that leads to Nampa La. After short distance along the Bhote Koshi, you begin the steep ascent to Namche Bazar.
Namche – Khumjung(3790) & trek back to Namche . BLD Overnight in Trekking Lodges
Trek to Khumjung [3790m] and it takes about two & half hours. Lunch in Everest View Hotel you can enjoy an panoramic view of Mount Everest and an excellent view of Thamserku, Kantega, Tawache and Ama Dablam, you retrace your route down the Bhote Kosi Valley towards Namche.
Namche to Lukla [2886m] BLD Overnight in Trekking Lodges
Your final day's trekking follows the Dudh Kosi back down to Lukla taking 6 six hours. This last evening in the mountains is the ideal opportunity for a farewell party with the sherpa guides and porters, where you can sample some chhang, try Sherpa dancing and look back on a memorable trekking experience.

After breakfast we will fly back to Kathmandu, then in the afternoon we start an interesting tour around Kathmandu valley escorted by an English-speaking guide. (We can provide a guide speaking any other language on request). Beginning with Pashupatinath, which is a major Hindu pilgrimage sight older than Kathmandu itself! Baudhanath & Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) are Buddhist Stupas famous for their size and spectacle.

After breakfast we start an interesting tour around Kathmandu This tour provides a full taste of our vivid cultural images and the enchanting mannerisms and traditions of our people. The tour includes stops at and Kathmandu Durbar Square & Patan Durbar Square. You can enjoy this day for shopping & rickshaw rides around Thamel. In the evening we will take you to a fare well dinner with ethnic dances and food.
