Jomsom Trekking is a part of Annapurna trek. In comparison to others, it is an easier trek. One of the most significant features of this trek is that it can be done through out the year as it falls under rain shadow area. The route actually crosses to the other side of the main Himalayan range for some magnificent views of the northern flanks. The entire route remains below 4000 meters but the trek is purely stimulating.
This is a remarkable trek where you can explore the Buddhist and Hindu culture as well.To mention about some attractions of this trek are that there are spectacular mountain views, deepest gorge in the world and Jomsom is known as arid valley stunning you to praise it. the landscape of this area is look like Tibet where you can not see any green forest and also it is non-rainy region.most of the local peoples who was live in this area they are from Tibet very long time ago.

Arrival in Kathmandu. Overnight in Hotel
Clear Sky Treks Representatives will welcome groups at the Kathmandu Airport with a banner and drop you at the hotel. After check-in at the hotel and refreshments, Clear Sky Treks office management personnel and a guide will formally introduce themselves and provide a trip briefing. Group members should submit 2 passport size photos plus a copy of their passport and a copy of Travel insurance to the office personnel.
Kathmandu –Pokhara . Overnight in Hotel B
Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.) which takes about six hours. You depart early morning at 7 o'clock for the six hours drive by tourist deluxe bus to Pokhara (915m,), 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu. As you climb out of the Kathmandu valley, only to quickly descend again to the Trisuli River, you follow upstream to its junction with the Marsyangdi River. You follow the Marsyandi gently up through heavily terraced fields and small hill towns to the Seti River that takes you directly into Pokhara. Having pleasant weather, Pokhara is tourist's paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with mountains. You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Tal (lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. This drive will take most of the morning, leaving much of the afternoon to fall in love with its beauty.
Pokhara - Jomsom (15m3850m,)
Fly to Jomsom & sightseeing around Jomsom. The Kaligandaki valley here is called the Thakkhola, after the native Thakalis, who are distantly related to the Tibetans.
Jomsom -Kalopani
Descend to Marpha, a lovely village of whitewashed houses and fertile fields. Continue down the Kali Gandaki reaching the former Thakali trading centre of Tukuche. As the trail continues, the Himalayan rainshadow blends into coniferous forest, and we reach the main river valley and Kalopani (2560m.) From here there are spectacular 360 degree views of Dhaulagiri and the Annapurnas.
Kathamandu –Pokhara 6hrs Drive or 30minute fly. 960m
A beautiful walk, with another transition into sub-tropical vegetation and the return of water buffalo, banyan trees and poinsettias. The trail follows the river through a narrow gorge, and descends to cross a bridge near a spectacular waterfall, before winding through the valley to Tatopani. The hot water springs that give the village its name provide the perfect opportunity for a good ‘scrub.’
Kalopani - Tatopani (1200m / 5hrs)
Fly between two 8 thousand meters mountain and get in the rain-shed valley. Wendy riverbed makes difficult walk down but in the morning always-good time. It is the good place to stay over night. Monasteries, rich culture and nice people.
Ghorepani - Tadapani 6 hrs 2670m,
Weak up early morning and climb up to Pun hill from where can see from Dhaulagiri range to Ganesh Himal range. During the Sun rise panoramic views with colorful mountains. Again walk down to hotel and after breakfast walk up hill towards Tadapani. Climb with Mountain views again through Rhododendron forest. After the top path goes along the ridge and Trail descends steeply through dense moss-covered forest rich with bird life. A short early-morning climb to the Deurali pass for a spectacular panorama over Dhaulagiri and the Annapurnas, and to Tadapani for beautiful sunset views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhare.
Tadapani - Ghandrung (3 hrs /1950m, )
Trail descends along the dense moss-covered forest rich with bird life. A short walk to Ghandruk, which is a big village of Gurungs and ACAP office, gives you more affirmations. Just from village spectacular panorama views of the Annapurnas south, Himchuli and Machhapuchhare.
Ghandrung - Dhampus
The path descends for about 2 hours, before climbing steeply to another Gurung village, Landrung. We then follow the hillside south to the Dhampus. The mountain views are superb and far away to the south lies Fewa Tal (lake.) We continue down the ridge to the village of Dhampus, from where the mountains still enchant.
Dhampus - Phedi - Pokhara
Steep descent through the river valley to Phedi, then drive to Pokhara.
Pokhara -Kathmandu .Overnight in Hotel B
Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist mini bus that takes about seven hours. While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you head up to Damauli,, Dumre, Muglin and Kurintar where the Nepal's first Cable car is operated to reach to Manakamana Temple. En route, you could enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and people being engaged in their daily life activities. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the gateway to capital city. You are then directly taken to the hotel
Final Departure.
All too soon it's time to bid Nepal farewell and one realizes that we can never be intimate, only acquainted with this amazing adventure kingdom
